William Grant Vinson

November 1, 1939 - October 21, 2024

William "Bill" Vinson, 84, formerly of Sikeston, Missouri, Cincinnati, Ohio, Oviedo, Florida, and Port Orange, Florida, passed away of natural causes on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Halifax Health Hospital, Daytona Beach, Florida.

Bill was born in Rock Island, Illinois to the late Delwood "Monk" Vinson and the late Virginia Myers Vinson on November 1, 1939.  He attended high school at Sikeston High School, Missouri, and graduated in 1957. He went on to college at the University of Arkansas, served in the United States Navy (E5 Electronics) for 4 years, and worked as a Manager for AT&T for 39 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, the beach, American Sign Language, and working on computers.

He is preceded in death by his spouse Beverly "Kay" Vinson; parents: Monk and Ginny Vinson; son Chris Vinson, and daughter Michele Neale (Vinson).

Bill is survived by his daughter Heather Knight (Vinson); sons-in-law: Brian Neale and Chad Knight; grandchildren: Carly, Maxwell, Wesley, and Sara.
