Tyrone Lee Wallace
May 26, 1961 - August 6, 2025
Tyrone Lee Wallace, affectionately known as “Sal,” passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 64. He was born on May 26, 1961, in Daytona Beach, Florida, and raised on Washington Street in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Sal was a devoted brother, father, uncle, and grandfather. Though life’s journey took many turns, in his heart, he always cherished one wife, Gladys.
He will be remembered for his love of fishing, cooking, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Sal had a kind and gentle spirit, and his contagious laugh could fill any room with warmth and joy. He enjoyed drawing cartoon characters and was blessed with a green thumb, tending to his garden with care.
Known to many as “Mr. T” for his love of jewelry, Sal’s unique personality, creativity, and charm left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Sal is survived by his daughters, Shawntel Patrice Robinson, Rosechelly Medina, and Lourdes Williams; his sons, Franklin I. Santiago and Angel L. Santiago; grandchildren, Amari, Ashant’e, Rick, Vincent, Jimmy, Alex, Ivan, Dyson, Ashton, Franklin, Alicia, and Emari; and eleven great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings, Michael Wallace, Elmo Floyd, Nute Floyd, and Lisa Floyd Davis; stepsister, Cheryl Edwards; and stepbrother, Angelo Williams.
He leaves behind four loving aunties, two uncles, and seven nieces and nephews, as well as a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
The staff of Alonia's Cremation & Urns extends our heartfelt condolences to the Wallace family.
