Rufio Staley

Rufio the beloved pet of Mike and Kate Staley crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Monday, September 23, 2024.

Born in inner-city Atlanta, GA, I was rescued by the organization called Fur Kids, placed in foster care with several families, and given the name Rufio.

One year later Kate and Mike Staley requested a visit to meet me, and I immediately knew when they sat down on the floor, that these two humans would be my lifetime servants. We shared unconditional love with each other for fifteen years. When they traveled they assigned a human to me so I was never alone. In return I talked to them daily, providing no question of what I wanted. 

They sang to me and showered me with love, kisses, and hugs until my final breath. September 23rd 11:45 2024
