Margaret Louise Jaeger of Port Orange, Florida quietly passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the age of 81.

A Granny with a purpose, A mother with a goal, A wife with a reverence, A friend with kindness, A neighbor with a helping hand, A gardener with a green thumb, A singer of the sweetest songs, A soul connected to nature, A spirit with a love for God, A hand of love for every child she could connect with. These are the ways I would describe my Grandmother Margaret Jaeger you can call her Granny Peggy or "Gramma Piggy" to the littlest ones. She came with skills she loved to tell all the kids about, from squirrel hunting to gardening to multifamily canning. Caring she knew how to get it done for the people she loved and taking care was her language of love. She always had advice sometimes whispered in a Granny way. She always had an animal story to share from alligators to lions to chipmunks and raccoons turtles and geese and snakes under gardening feet. She was always available with a helping hand or a hot meal for any neighbor in every neighborhood of life. Always a friend to anyone nearby. Always ready with a prayer for the people she'd meet.

Her stories will proceed her in the lives of her 4 surviving children Theresa, Rick, John and Julie. Her grandchildren Johnathan, Makenzie, Regina, Samantha, Joshua, Steven, Jake, Hannah, Tara, Chaz, Janessa, and Hope. Her great-grandbabies Loki, Viola, Justice, Julian, Silas, Barrett, Olivia, Aurora, Jubillee, Abigail, Steven, Jemorie, and every friend she made for life. Loved and Missed every story reminisced. Waiting in heaven for her were her husband Richard "Dick" Jaeger, son-in-law Steve Watry, her parents, sibling, and many other family and friends.
