Leewonna Patrice Storr
October 7, 1975 - August 10, 2025
Leewonna Patrice Storr, 49 of Homestead, Florida, peacefully answered the Lord's call on Sunday, August 10, 2025.
A TIME TO BE BORN… Leewonna Patrice Storr was born October 7, 1975, in Miami, Florida, to the late Wonso Lee Storr, Jr., and her Living mother, Gloria Storr Miller. She was the second child born to this union. As a child, Leewonna was very high-spirited with a sense of humor and a broad, beautiful smile. And Leewonna loves to sing.
A TIME TO LEARN… Leewonna matriculated through the Miami-Dade County Public Schools System. She graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High School Class of 1993. Later, Leewonna attended Johnson and Wales Culinary University. One of Leewonna’s passions was cooking, and she loved showing off her culinary skills for family and friends.
A TIME TO REJOICE… Leewonna gave birth to four children: Ayanna Storr, Kionne Major, Ivan Harris, Jr., and Alonso Storr. She attended The Birthplace International Ministry Inc. Church in Homestead, Florida as a praise and worship team member.
A TIME TO DIE... According to Hebrews 9:27
And just as it is appointed and destined for all men to die once and after this comes a certain judgment, … On Sunday, August 10, 2025, God in His infinite wisdom called Leewonna into eternity. Too soon by our measure, but in the providence of the all-knowing, all-loving, and almighty God. Leewonna was preceded in death by her father, Wonso Lee Storr, and her grandparents.
A TIME TO MOURN… Left to cherish her loving memories are her children: Ayanna Storr of Norfolk, Virginia, Kionne Majors, Ivan Harris, Jr., and Alonso Storr of Homestead, Florida; her mother, Gloria Miller of Port Orange, FL, her sisters: Melani Johnson (Lyndon) of Daytona Beach, FL, Vanessa Roan of Orlando, FL, Jasmine Storr and Mikila Hunt-Hyles of Miami, FL. As well as a host of other relatives and friends.
The staff of Alonia's Cremation & Urns extends our sincere condolences to Ms. Storr's family.
