John A. Link, a beacon of love and loyalty graced this world with his presence for 77 remarkable years. On January 03, 2025, he passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire for generations to come. Born on January 21, 1947, in the city of Durham, North Carolina, John's life journey was a testament to passion, dedication, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
John had a passion for science fiction especially Star Trek and he also enjoyed fishing, cooking and airplanes.
John was awarded the United States Military Purple Heart after being wounded while serving his country as a Marine.
John was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Link, mother Mary Magdaline Mumford, father Alexander Link Jr., and youngest son Andre Link.
Left to cherish his memories are his children: Charles A. Link (Jodi) of Daytona Beach, Florida, Nina J. Link and Jimmy Crawford both of Chester, Pennsylvania; a brother Harrison Mumford Jr. of Madisonville, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Interment with Full Military Honors, January 15, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. Line up in Lane A.
