James Orie Sr., a resident of Port Orange, Florida, and formerly of Canton, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the age of 97. His long life was marked by kindness and cherished memories, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Jim found great joy in bike riding throughout his neighborhood, a pastime he enjoyed up until the age of 97. He was deeply connected to his military roots, often participating in 82nd Airborne gatherings, which held a special place in his heart.
