Garland James Walker Sr., of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the age of 72.
Garland Walker Sr. was born January 21, 1953, in New York and lived in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Parents: Dr. Annie Mae McClary Walker and William Howard Walker (Bill Walker)
Children: Garland Walker (Son) from Orange City, Kevin (Son) from New York, and Brittany (Daughter) from Illinois
Grandchildren: Tereas Walker (Grandson), Jokaya Gordan (Granddaughter), Kendasha Brown (Granddaughter), Kamora Brown (Granddaughter), and Avantae Williams (Great-Grandson)
Garland went to Melville Senior High School. He graduated from Daytona State College with a degree in Hospitality & Culinary Management. Also, Garland studied at Jackson State University and State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Garland served 4 years in the Army (Korea Seoul) where he was stationed in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.
