Doris Pierce Wesley
April 5, 1943 - February 26, 2026
Born to Andrew Phillips and Blanche Pierce in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was the oldest of the four living siblings.
She completed a six-grade education and owned her own cleaning service. She also served as the pastor of Pillar Ground and Truth Church of God in Reddick, Florida.
Pastor Wesley was a caring and compassionate woman of God who loved the Lord, fishing, gardening, and quilt making for her grandchildren. She had a way of drawing others to Christ. She had a heart for serving and feeding the homeless.
Pastor Wesley departed this life on Thursday, February 26th, 2026. She stepped out of earth to Glory. She was preceded in death by her mother, Blanche Pierce, and father, Andrew Phillips; sister, Johnnie Mae Pierce, granddaughter, Regina Tilley, and three grandsons: Anthony Tilley, Michael Wesley 3rd, and Max Lehrman.
She is survived by her brothers: Freddie J. Pierce of Boca Raton, Florida, and Craig Phillips of Daytona Beach, Florida; a sister, Betty Jackson of Deerfield Beach, Florida; daughters: Missionary Ellouise Gordon (Pastor Lyndell Gordon Sr.) of Citra, Florida, Brenda Greene of Ocala, Florida, Bonnie Johnson of Daytona Beach, Florida, Pheobe pierce of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Carmen Mozell of Ocala, Florida; sons: Michael Wesley Jr. of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Anthony Wesley (Suzanne Wesley) of Jacksonville, Florida; 27 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Having lived a life of love, joy, and grace, walking with God every step of the way, she is now resting with the Lord in heavenly peace.
