Ms. Ann Mary (Costello) Kickery, beloved mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, at the age of 93.

Born in Pittsfield, MA, on June 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Costello and Josephine Zullo. Ann graduated from Pittsfield High School and was raised with strong values of family, faith, and compassion—principles she carried throughout her life and passed on to the generations who followed. She worked for many years as a school cafeteria aide and at the PolyMatrix Company.

Ann was the devoted mother of three daughters: Tammie Lee, Debbie (Lee) Sullivan, and Patricia Allison. She was predeceased by her beloved spouse, Robert Cote, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. She found her greatest joy in her family and was a proud grandmother to Alisha Radke, Santino Allison, Augustino Allison, Erica McGraw, Justin Sullivan, and Brandie (Lee) Langfield. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Aria, Emma, Lexi, Gavin, Pearl, Chloe, Paige, and Olivia. She leaves behind her beloved sister, Mrs. Josephine Vincent, and several nieces and nephews. Her love and guidance will live on through each of them.

Ann had a deep love for cooking and was happiest when preparing meals for those she loved. Her kitchen was the heart of her home—filled with the comforting aromas of her favorite recipes, the warmth of conversation, and the laughter of family gathered together. She passed down not only cherished dishes but also the importance of bringing people together through food and love.

Known for her strength, wisdom, and joy, Ann lived a life that exemplified grace and resilience. She treasured life’s simple pleasures and was a steady, loving presence in the lives of all who knew her.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 9:30 AM at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pittsfield, MA. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or by planting a memorial tree in Ann’s memory.

Ann Mary Kickery will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, liveliness, family, and kindness will forever endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
